yes, anytime you are able to quiet your mind, you are opening up a world of psychic possibilities.

As one settles into Zen training, a whole new world of possible action becomes revealed. This world includes what some call “psychic abilities.”
However, these abilities are not the point of Zen training. And if someone attaches and clings to such abilities, they will end up producing profound suffering for themselves and others.
The point of Zen training is ease the great suffering in the world. If a practitioner maintains this as his or her aspiration, then special powers and psychic abilities will not be necessary.

Hello Neon
Meditation can help with psychic development & is a key feature with those who wish to do so.
Zen is just another kind of meditation - but if it still the mind then it can do. Within Buddhism Clairvoyance is a recognised ability enhanced by meditation.

Zen, like any meditative practice will help lower your brainwave frequency to alpha or theta (The Gateway To The Psychic Realm)
Here are some good help pages for developing psychic ability.
Hey, all you’ve got to do is go to yourself. Just relax and be who you are. Sounds simple, is simple but simple is as simple does, do you know what I mean? It’s great that there are so many different techniques and teachers and ways to go about it - and psychic abilities are just the icing on the cake. The cake is your soul and that’s you, already there, nothing to wait for, to strive for, nothing to do. It’s simple, but it’s also hard: getting all the stuff that the world and living in it puts in your way. Sometimes it’s good to just chill out, spend some time with a good book or a good friend and then see what just pops into your head to do. I like my friend Bethany and I like to share what she has to say because it always makes me feel good. http://adifferentwayoflookingatthings.blogspot.com/
